Whats up in January 2021
Welcome to the year 2021 dear cat friends!
We have a lot to report again. Our search for investors is going rather hard. We have applied to many crowd-fundings, but have received only rejections to date. One reason is that it doesn't fit into the investment focus or because we don't need enough capital(!) The Höhle der Löwen in Germany didn't want us either, because we don't have a finished product yet (if we did, we wouldn't need capital for industrial production).
But we have a glimmer of light: in the Höhle der Löwen Switzerland we were allowed to attend the casting. Let's wait and see how it goes. But it is quite possible that you can become an investor in our company via crowd funding. Details will follow.
The company KittyFlap GmbH was launched in December 2020 and thus the KittyFlap now also has a legal "home".
At the KittyFlap itself, we have commissioned the smart phone app. The design will be beautiful and you can use it to integrate the KittyFlap into your locals WiFi and control certain parameters.
The chip detection for access control is not that easy: there are two different standards in use: the implanted chips and the wearable chips like the SureFlap, as an example. So our antenna has to cope with different frequencies and protocols, but we are already working on a solution.
We are asked by you again and again if you can act as a tester. That made us very happy! At the moment, however, the KittyFlap still needs some attention, so we have to put you off until later.
The next steps for us are clear: find investors so that we can industrialize the product more quickly. For this we need CAD designers, 3D printing and testers... we will get back to you as soon as possible!
